Saturday July 16th is Victoria’s favourite art event, the 29th Annual Moss St. Paint-in. This is one of Victoria’s most loved outdoor events, as this celebration of art in all forms takes over ALL of Moss Street – from Fort Street all the way to Dallas Road.
The outdoor venue takes on an atmosphere of street festival as more than 165 artists demonstrate their work to more than 35,000 visitors who stroll the 10 blocks. Food, music, hands on art stations and friendly neighbors of the Art Gallery all come together in the gallery’s biggest single event of the year. The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria takes pride in providing artists with the opportunity to show art; for the public to see art; and for everyone to talk about art in a setting that is inclusive, welcoming, and fun-filled. Lots of opportunity to make art for families!
